The Federal Government has ordered all fishing trawlers to install Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) on their vessels before the end of 2009.Mr Shola Amire, a Director in the Federal Department of Fisheries (FDF), told News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Monday that the directive was to reduce piracy in Nigerian territorial waters.
