Texas hunting and fishing licenses for 2009-2010 will go on sale Saturday. Sportsmen are reminded all current Texas annual hunting and fishing licenses (except for the year-to-date fishing license) expire Aug. 31.

Fishing Vessel Grounded Near Newport (FOX 12 Oregon)

A 50-foot fishing vessel ran aground on Nye Beach near Newport on Tuesday, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Boater arrested in reported hit and run (KATU Portland)

In an update to a story KATU News first reported Aug. 3, the man who ran his fishing boat into a family’s ski boat near Camas has been arrested. Deputies say the suspect confessed and will be charged soon.
